Professional visits

Mimizan Inter-communal Tourist Office and their partners organise your forest tours and environmental study trips, offering visits to a range of industrial and construction sites linked to the Pine wood forestry sector since 1995.

The contributors are professionals who actively encourage exchange in order to transmit their experience and expertise.

Mimizan, Siver coast’s Pearl

A city between sea and forest

Situated in the department of Landes, Mimizan is a city of the Atlantic coast and a family sea resort.

With 10kms of beach and 85 % of forest it is a city in the heart of the nature which knows how to make of its geographical situation a tourist and an economic asset. Indeed, the wood industry represents the 1st source of employment of the territory and the green tourism is very developed:
